<<Hot tamales are poisonous? What is genetically modified in a hot tamale? >>
What made them poisonous is not the genetically engineered corn flour wrap, but the ANTIBIOTIC-laden pork & chicken meat inside the tamales. They slowly develop antibiotic resistant super bacteria inside your stomach like a quiet time bomb ready to kill you one day at the right moment. http://www.ecologos.org/contaminated.htm
There are some concerns being raised recently, hopefully they will bring some changes to the US ranch animal feed laws, but don't hold your breath.

Marlboro man, a typical European culture symbol... yeah right
>>>>>
in fact it is...marlboro branded everything is much more popular in europe than in america...complete with marlboro man imagery. perhaps a bit less over the last couple of years but relatively recently it was very very popular here.
we xenophobic europeans don't want no american style ice. sorry logos but your post sounds like an american hick talking about how his supermarket just introduced some ur-peen cheese. why are you so upset by things that you perceive as foreign?

Nope, I don't consider ice cubes to be a foreign product. Actually, I'm quite sure they're made from German water, or is this imported too? . It's just they those cubes are an alsolutely not needed product by anyone.

oh then i misunderstood your post. you were questioning why someone would need ice and then you linked this to american products in the same store so i thought it was clear that you were considering buying ice as an american concept.

The availability of home refrigerators killed good beer in the USA for many years. Once American brewers figured out that most Americans were storing their beers in the fridge at temperatures that killed most of the flavor, they dumbed down the flavor of the beer to save money. If people were going to destroy the beer flavor by cooling it down too much, why go to the expense of producing beers that have some flavor?
Thank creative smaller brewers for the resurgence of good, flavorful beers in the USA over the past 20 years. Just don't drink them at refrigerator temperatures if you don't want to waste your money.
