Thanks. Will have a good look at that website. Was hoping to do it in a day trip from Siracusa. I found a bus from Catania Airport but there would only be a couple of hours there and 3-4 hours bus travel each way. Looks like the best thing is to see the tourist office when I get there.... I didn't manage it last time and would really like to get there this time... Thorn Treeers also seem to find it hard to get to and certainly not there and back in a day.
Have never done a RS tour but it is 24-28 people. Eeeek! Anyway, will want to spend a week lazing around in the Aeolian islands with a friend... so anyway it isn't on.

Thanks to all of you for the advice! I have downloaded the three TRs and look forward to poring over them as I continue planning. I think we will take the advice to skip Taormina for sure. Thx again!
