Croatia Travel Video?

Hello fellow travelers!

I'm looking into a destination to visit next June for 10 days. Croatia is on the top of my list. I would love to find a GOOD DVD on traveling to Croatia to help with this research. I found a few on Amazon.com but there were limited reviews so I thought I would ask for recommendations from this forum.

Any help with DVD's would be greatly appreciated!

THANKS!

I don't know what's avaiable at Amazon. Both Rick Steves and Rudy Maxa did shows on Croatia. You might find these at your library or available from PBS.

Both gave Croatia distressingly rave reviews. Distressing because I fear Croatia will be overrun by tourists and lose its laidback charm.

Dubrovniktravellady, I thought it was only Dubrovnik that had too many cruise ships. Does this apply to other places in Croatia?

I believe ALL of Rick Steves travel videos (including Croatia) are available for free viewing at hulu.com.

The cruise lines are beginning to stop at Korcula, Split and Kopor in Slovenia, how soon before they turn the entire coast into a 4 hour stop off town. How we wish they would sink of just go away, but alas we're stuck with the hoards of 4 hour guests who don't contribute to our local economy.
