Both alternatives are entirely too much for 10 days. I would base the itinerary on your alternate #2, but make Granada a full day (if you want to tour the Alhambra). Seville to Arcos to Ronda to Granada in two days represents lots of driving with little time to explore any of those towns (or other white villages you mention). Since your focus appears to be on Madrid, Seville, and Andalucia, I would save Barcelona for another trip.

Not only are both versions too much for just 10 days, your title is too general.
"Critique Intinerary" could be asking about anyplace in Europe.
I would re-post w/ a title something like "Suggestions for whirlwind tour of Spain in Nov? "

With both of your itineraries you will be traveling every single day! When will you have time to SEE anything?
Shot! I could spend a week in Barcelona alone! I would suggest cutting back to two or maybe three cities tops. You will lose two days traveling. So that leaves 8 days of actual vacation.
At the end of my ski trips there is always a two day extension someplace. No matter what city I have gone to I have NEVER found two days to be long enough.
