It probably speaks volumes about my drab life that I find you all so entertaining. Well, at the least --- witty. I'll ask again: Anybody here going to the GTG in October?
Kismetchimera, you touched on a fond memory. 40 years ago (when the girls still stood up on their own) I was one of those (probably half-naked?---can't remember) Americans jumping into fountains as I hitchhiked thru Europe on $5 a day.

(Heard I might be paying 40 euro for Italian lunch when I'm there in May.)

annettafly, I will be there along with Nikki, cigalechanta and AGM_CapeCod. It was at my first GTG that I met them and became friends IRL. We were all in Paris a few weeks ago. Each of them has written a trip report. It's a great group of people. I hope you can make it.
