Covid Test in Rome
I will be returning to the US from Rome on June 2. I have been researching where to get the Covid Test on the last day as required for entry back into the US. Will be staying just west of Piazza Navona. The pharmacies I've found are all quite a ways away. Anyone know where to get the test near the center? And how much will it cost? Thanks.

Hi, It will be easy to get a covid test at a pharmacy near your lodging, whether right near Piazza Navona or closer to your lodging. Pharmacies are everywhere in Rome and so many of them offer Covid tests on a walk in basis (i.e., no appt needed). You'll know they do if they have a white tent outside the pharmacy. It's all very hassle free. Wait in line for a bit. You fill out a form, which includes your email address and bring your passport. Get the test on the spot. Wait 15 minutes or so (depending on how many people are queued). Get your results in both hard copy and then they are emailed to you about 30 minutes later. No problem at all. I can't remember the cost--I had a test a few days ago (maybe around 30 euros). No big deal. I am in Rome now. Have been here for almost two months. I've have a few Covid tests.
