The first half of this trip report is about our June 2007 trip to Paris, Normandy and Mont Ste. Michel

One week solo, January 2005, Aix-en-Provence, Carcassonne and Arles. Low-budge, for those who want those kinds of recs.
Hotels were:
Aix - St. Christophe
Carcassonne - Hotel du Pont Vieux
Arles - Les Calendal

Here is one from fall, 2006:
Beginning in Bayonne, we traveled to San Sebastian and then, by train and rental car, to the Dordogne where we spent a week before traveling to Paris by train. There is a focus on food.
Overnights were:
Hotel Best Western Le Grand, Bayonne
Hotel Niza, San Sebastian
Rental house, Les Rosiers, Domme
Hotel 2-Iles, Ile St. Louis, Paris

From April/May of 2008: The first part is mostly Paris, and the second half is mostly Rome.
It's a lazy report, but hopefully has some good info for y'all.
