Cotswolds Walking Tour
Does anyone know where I can find information regarding a wonderful walk that I have heard about from the Slaughters to Bourton-on-the Water? Do you know the length/time of the walk? Thanks for any feedback.......

There are public footpaths all over the Cotswolds. You can walk between just about any two villages and most walks are really lovely. Bourton to the Slaughters is less than 2 miles - probably about 1.5 miles to Lower Slaughter and and only a little farther to Upper Slaughter. So you could walk it however fast you can walk 2 miles

And I can recommend HF Holidays (http://www.hfholidays.co.uk/). My wife and I have done 6 HF walking trips, 2 of them in the Cotswolds, and have thoroughly enjoyed them. The HF house in Bourton-on-the-Water is a mostly 18th century manor in a pretty walled garden; the rooms are pleasant; and the food is substantial and good, although not fancy. You have the option of short (4 days, I think) or week-long trips.

Thanks to all for the feedback. We're not looking for anything terribly organized - just wanted to make the walk between Bourton and the Slaughters and were just wondering how to locate it and how long a walk it was ( having two children on the walk with us ). Sounds short enough and I'm sure all we have to do is ask someone upon arrival where to go. Thanks again...

To emphasise Janis' point.
There's over 120,000 miles of these footpaths in Britain, and most of them are clearly signposted in each village. Sometimes it seems as if 99% of them are in the Cotswolds
The Bourton-Slaughters path, frankly, I'd rate about average for the area.
This is not to discourage you from the stroll, but to encourage you strongly to use the paths wherever you are. In almost every English village, the best view of the church is from the fotpath leading to the next village, and they're usually the best way of seeing people's gardens.
There really is little point getting anyone to guide you on these walks. Every vilage newsagent is stuffed with booklets describing them all.
