My favorites, in order of preference-
Aiguablava (not a village but rather a cove & beach)- at either the Parador or the Hotel Aiguablava
Begur, the closest town to Aiguablava, at the Hotel Aiguaclara
Llafranc, (the next door neighbor to Calella de Palafrugell)

We stayed in Llafranc at a beautiful place above the village--El Far. While we liked it very much I would stay within the village on return at the LlaFranc hotel there.
Another place we really enjoyed for a lunch stop was Tossa del Mar. Not sure what kind of lodging that cute little place has, however.
Maribel, if you're checking this thread, I've been trying to draw your attention to the trip report I finally did of our New Year trip to Barcelona. Has reviews of restaurants you recommended.

I would second Calella de Palafrugell, very scenic area and no high rises. We stay at a bed & breakfast within walking distance of the village run by an English couple. The house is very comfortable, scrumptious breakfasts, great pool area and wonderful hosts, their website is www.casadostorres.com/ Llafranc is the next bay to Calella, there is an easy cliff walk between the two villages with very scenic views of the bay along the way. Hope this helps.
