Corral de la Moreria or Casa Patas or La Carboneras
We arrive in Madrid on October 10 and have a week. We don't know anything about flamenco, but would like to attend a show. It seems criminal to go all that way, and not attend at least one show!
I've done a bit of research, and these three places get good reviews.
I have no idea of the performers, and hope someone who does know, would have a look at the schedules for that week and offer an opinion of which would be the best bet for novices.
We're only interested in show and drink, not dinner.

Tough choice.
Casa Patas is arguably the best tablao in Spain in recent years, and great dancers Antonio Molina and Gema Moneo perform here during your week:
Molina: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l_uoCGG8WW8
Moneo: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QcrLxNSqkAk
But on all of your nights in Madrid, fabulous Belén Lopez dances in Corral de la Morería. Some weeks ago she won the most prestigious flamenco dance prize in Spain, the Premio Desplante. Here she is during the semifinals: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pY37ipwd4lI
Only top artists in Las Carboneras also. El Oruco dances here your week. Since 2011 he has been working closely with the greatest flamenco dancer in the world right now Rocío Molina. I saw El Oruco with Molina four days ago during the Bienal de Flamenco in Sevilla in a night that will go into flamenco history: http://www.deflamenco.com/revista/re...bienal1-1.html
El Oruco: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e917oq5Wddk
And Paloma Fantova dances frequently in Cardamomo. Here she tear down the wall's in prestigious Sadler's Wells in London a couple of years ago: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ck7hMzNH3b8
