I thought I had given you the name of a tour guide that I’ve used but maybe not. It’s Isabel Martínez Richter. She does tours for Rick Steves. If she isn’t available the tourist office can give you the names of other official, licensed guides. Or go on the tour guides’ official web site. Tours by Locals is a Canadian company with wonderful reviews. Check their website, and see what's available in Cordoba. We used them in Greece and Turkey. Best thing is you pay AFTER your tour, and can spend 10% more for option to cancel within 24 hrs, which we had to do once.

I you want a simple walking tour, there are free tours or those offered by the marketplace, Tours by Locals to which the guides pay for the advertising, but only a licensed, official guide with a badge displaying his or her credentials is allowed to guide you through the Cathedral-Mosque.
