Check out TuscanWomenCook.com. Located in tiny Montefollonico, it's in the middle of what I consider the most gorgeous area of Tuscany. A wonderful program in a beautiful place.

Bob- you could also try villasandvoyages.com go into their website and click on Savor of France--this is their cooking/wine tasting division of the company--they do France and Italy---the Italian area that they do ahs a lot of cooking and wine tasting and markets and 2 star Michelin rest....We did the France one in Burgundy and it was outstanding..We want to go and do Italy next --do Not contact thru email, as they are too busy to answer--get the 800 no.off the website and call David directly.....

Bob, this was something I really wanted to do while I was in Italy too (got back more than 3 weeks ago). Ended up that many agriturismos will offer cooking classes - I took a class from the lady who owned the farmhouse we stayed in and it was wonderful. Very authentic, exactly what I wanted and the best meal I've ever had! If you go to tuscany.net, many of these places offer cooking classes (to name a few: Podere Scanelli, Villa Belvedere and the one I stayed at Il Greppo). Also, chiantinet is a good place to go too.
