Convent Accomodation
I have read everywhere that there are Italian convents that offer accomodation to weary tourists.

Is this possible to do in Paris? I have heard that it is, but still have yet to find what convents do this, and who to contact.
Does anyone know?

Thanks in advance for clarifying!
Patricia
Patricia:

I collect information like other people collect stamps...which explains why I had to buy all sorts of storage stuff from an office supply place to organize it all. Obscure? Arcane? I probably have something about it!

Let me know if the info has changed, so I can update mine....

Hi everyone. I just wanted to tell anyone who's interested that I found the address where you can purchase a copy of the 'guide st christopher' in Paris.
The address is second hand, and I got it from reading the forum at frommers'. There is also a telephone number you can try just to make sure they have it. (but it looks like as Elvira mentioned, it is also possible to obtain it through the mail). Here is the Paris address:

'Guide St Christophe'
La Procure, 3 rue de mezieres
75006, paris
(01 45 48 20 25)

I just wanted to share this info for anyone who might like it (I know I was happy to find it--Thanks Freckles and Elvira!!)

Patricia
