Actually I've been wanting to see "Olympia" for a while -- it's seldom revived. "Triumph" is widely viewed as propaganda though, but as a film, it's quite interesting. Controversial woman, that's for sure. There is actually a documentary called "The Wonderful, Horrible Life of Leni Riefenstahl."

I haven't seen any of her movies. I believe Olympia has parts I & II. Certainly an interesting woman with an interesting (and long) life.

"Triumph" is worth seeing (hope people don't twist this comment unnecessarily), but when I saw it in a revival, the speeches were all in German with no subtitles (which I guess was for the better). That part was quite dull but frightening given the intensity of the speeches and our knowledge of what had come after (the intensity was obvious even when I didn't understand what was being said).

This famous family of artists (grandfather, father & son) all have the same first name & last name. The grandfather was born in Scotland, and later emigrated to the US. The grandfather was most famous for his work on a city hall and especially the statue on top of the city hall. The father was famous for a fountain in the same city. The son, most famous of all 3, has works all over the world. His works mostly are hanging sculptures. Interestingly (to me at least), one of his work hangs in the museum of the same city, and with the museum, the fountain, & the city hall all lined up in a straight line along a big street.

Interesting clue.

This city in question is Philadelphia, which I didn't mention in my clue. It was interesting to me, as all 3 sites are located along Benjamin Franklin Parkway which is one of the biggest streets in the city. The city hall sits at one end of BFP, while the Museum of Art sits at the other end. Half way between the 2 is the Swann Fountain.

Interesting. I'll have to look for this if I find myself in Philadelphia.
