Comparison to Wachau Valley

Last year, I went on a bike ride through the Wachau Valley from Melk to Krems. I was staying in Vienna so it was a beautiful day trip along the Danube with the rolling hills and castles. Is there an equivalent trail/route that is also near the Vienna area? I loved the Wachau Valley, but I'd like to find something new as well! Thanks!

I've cycled the Danube from Vienna to the border, not especially lovely as much of it is along the top of a dyke (long distance views but no pretection from the wind), but there is a Roman camp to visit along the way and there are tiny ferries to get across the river etc so a little adventure. https://www.austria.info/en/things-t...ar-bike-trails is a good place to start. This is also a good general source https://www.biroto.eu/en/cycle-routes/czech-republic/ around Europe and of course the large Euro Velo routes are available https://en.eurovelo.com/
