Cologne, Dusseldorf, & Bonn

When traveling to Germany in May, we will only have time to visit 2 of these cities - Cologne, Dusseldorf, or Bonn. Would those familiar with them please advise which two they should be. Thank you.

Unless you are into very posh shopping or heavy beer drinking, there isn't much reason to visit Düsseldorf. IMHO this city is highly overrated. I'd pick the other two if the choice is really limited to these three. If it was me, though, I'd visit Cologne and either Aachen or the Middle Rhine Gorge.

What are you interested in? Why did you pick these three?

Been to all three dozens and dozens of times and to me I could not say which one was my favorite - none excited me that much - was there on business but spent a lot of time looking around. Bonn is much smaller and if a Mozart fan his house is there.

I am not sure Mozart ever was in Bonn.

I am sure you mean Beethoven.
