Colmar or Kaysersberg

I havea a reservation at Hostellerie Le Marechal in Colmar for three nights. I am now considering mving to La Chambard a Kaysersberg, a Realix and Chateau hotel. Any opinions on what I should do? Price is pretty much the same, I am just considering location. We can visit Colmar, and will definitely be doing the wine route!!

We much preferred charming Kaysersberg to Colmar. Lots of WWll history there too. This is where Albert Schweitzer was born and there is a museum dedicated to him.

Another vote for Kaysersberg; we had lunch at the Chambered winstub--great meal and loved the little village.

We very much liked http://schwendi.pagesperso-orange.fr/ in Kientzheim, about 2 km from Kaysersberg and about the same from Riquewihr. Walk through the vineyards.

There is a very nice 1* resto in Zellenberg, 6 km.

Enjoy your visit.
