Cockney term: minge???

I have heard this term recently: minge I think it is Cockney, isn't it?

On the off chance this isn't a troll...<BR>It's a nickname for the part of a woman that men only get to see if they're on very intimate terms with her.

This is too funny because there is a character on ABFAB whose name is Minge. Minge is actually a derogatory word for a woman's "labour channel." (And I don't mean Channel 4.) :0 Now, "mingy" means rotten, cheap, or dingy.

Thanks a million. I did a search in a Cockney dictionary online but it didn't come up. Is this word Cockney or just ordinary British slang?

I think minge can also mean a woman's hair(do).

I think tony's made it pretty clear what he is referring to!<BR><BR>Minge is what you might have heard referred to as beaver or (UK) fanny. Do you really need it spelled out for you?<BR><BR>In my experience its British slang not specifically cockney.<BR><BR>Minging is ugly.<BR><BR>Mingy is, as above, rotten, cheap, or dingy.<BR><BR>
