coat and tie required - provence
Is a coat and tie required at le bories, riboto de taven or would omitting a tie be accepted? What about the dress code at places like la ferme de la huppe? I assume ladies can wear dressy pants. Please advise.

Leave the tie at home. Same with the dress. Provence is very casual.

Tie not necessary.

You will enjoy the places that you have mentioned. Riboto de Taven is one of my very favorite places in the Les Baux/St. Remy area.

Ferme de la Huppe is also a nice place that you will enjoy.

I prefer to wear a sport coat to dinner. It usually presents a nicer picture and has gotten me into restaurants (or so I think) that were otherwise booked.
