Clothes for Paris in June

I have seen a lot of talk about Paris weather in March-May, but am wondering about clothing for very early June, particularly at night. Do we need sweaters? Is it warm enough for capri pants during the day? Any suggestions would be appreciated

(p.s. there is only a very old thread on this subject with a single response, so please do not reply to do a search)

www.weather.com

Has a "Travel Planner" where you can type in your city and month and get the following information for each day: Sunrise, Sunset, Avg. High, Avg. Low, Mean Temp., Record High, Record Low.

Average highs for June 1-10 are in the upper 60s. Average lows are in the lower 50s.

Bring your summer clothes, but makes certain that you have at least a sweater also.

June weather can be bizarre sometimes..It is best to be prepared..I was there once in the middle of June..I was lucky to find a sweatshirt in sales..I was freezing..

We were in Paris early last June. The first few days I wore a sweater and sometimes a jacket, too, even during the day. It kept getting warmer until the last few days we wore short sleeves and were sorry we didn't have shorts - all the Parisians were wearing them. So be prepared for everything!

Wear layers and have shoes that are worn with socks- nothing worse than cold tired feet!

Early June can be very volatile. We were in Paris last year at the end of May, away for 5 days, and then back for the first few days of June. It was rainy and cool the first part of our stay, and quite hot the second part. So best to be prepared for the extremes. I'd take a light raincoat or jacket for sure as you may very well still get spring rain.

I have been in Paris during the first week of June for the last three years. Each and every time it has been HOT. The first year, I took only slacks. I ended up going to the Monoprix, buying a pair of scissors, needle and thread so I could turn one pair of pants into capris!

Crepes:

Talk about resourceful! But as a non-sewer, I think I'll take my chances with pre-made capris. Thank you all for your suggestions.

Give me your lemons, and I'll make you some lemonade. Give me scissors, needle and thread, and I'll create you a Paris fashion! LOL
