Stayed at SeaView House ten years ago with wife on Honeymoon. Nice accomodations and the woman cooked us a Salmon dinner. At the time, Doolin had three pubs within 100 yards of each other. At one, an impromptu Irish music
bash entertained all--a fine time. Delicious-looking lamb stew was sold at the pub. My wife and I would recommend Doolin.

Check out Fernhill Farmhouse. A lovely lovely place to stay, for about 22 pounds a night.
We were there in April and, despite F&M concerns AT THAT TIME, we had a great time. It's about 10 minutes from Cliffs of Moher, 5 minutes or less from Doolin, about the same from Lisdoonvarna. Run by a wonderful woman named Suzanne who cooked like an angel and makes you one of the family from the moment you arrive.
Pat.

Returned recently from Ireland..Spent a night in Doolin, which is located about 10km from the Cliffs.I enjoyed Doolin very much and it was a cool place to hang for a day..quiet quaint little town with a bit of shopping and of course a couple of traditional Irish Pubs..need I say more. I can highly recommend Doolin..and also can highly recommend the Doolin Activity Center as the BEST B&B in Doolin..Do not be fooled or mis-led by the name..It is the newest and nicest place in town..I think we paid 25-30 Irish punts / person and it was a bargain.I felt guilty to stay there at these prices. I only hope to be able to get back there soon for a repeat experience..
