Clickair, new low cost carrier for Spain

Clickair, Iberia's new low cost airline, based in Barcelona, begins operations Oct. 1 with a rock bottom airfare sale, with one way web fares starting at 5 euros (11.25 with taxes).

Caveat: These 5 euro fares are available only until Sunday, says their web site.
Other one way fares from 10-20

Destinations: Barcelona, Sevilla, Valencia, Lisbon, Paris, Zurich, Geneva, Rome

Oh my gosh, that's incredible! Although after my disastrous experience at Prat airport I don't think I'll be going to barcelona airport anytime soon. LOL!

Thanks for posting the info!

And Easyjet is expanding their operations hub in Madrid to make it the biggest in southern Europe.

They will increase first the frequences for their Milan, Berlin, Geneve and London Gatwick flights, and from February they will begin to fly to Oviedo, La Coruña, Lyon, Toulouse, Rome and Casablanca.

Tickets will begin to be sold on the 26th of September.

I am specially looking forward to the Berlin flight. I do hope they schedule a late afternoon or evening return flight from Berlin to Madrid ...

I have already bought GVA-BCN return for the New-Year a week ago, 30DEC-02JAN. I had 3 airline choices :
Swiss : Best timing (for me) very early dep.flight and late return flight so I can have maximum of time in BCN but the price was CHF330
Easyjet : Not as early Dep.and as late return and Swiss but CHF200.
Clickair : Almost identical timing to Easyjet but CHF100 (this is not the lowest 5€ though. In €, it is about 62)
Prices include all taxes and charges.

So I'm happy with this 3nrd choice that has arrived for departure GVA for BCN. I only hope now this will be a good experience.
