Hi,

I do not know a lot about these hotels, but try them. Hotel Degli Amici and the Hotel Jolie. These are both in Monteross. These names are from my files from a few years ago. If they are full stay in Levanto. It is a gem and one town beyond Monterosso. There is a lovey beach there, an out door concert area, wonderful gelato, and bakeries. It is just one train stop to Monterosso and then take to the trails.

Dennis,
We stayed recently in Manarola. Two hotels there you could try are Marina Piccolo, right by the water, or Ca' Andrean, up the hill towards the church. They are both quite small, looked fine. Also in Manarola are B&Bs - Da Baranin and La Torretta, both near the church, also Casa Capellini which is just rooms (no breakfast). We had trouble getting replies when we booked but I just kept trying until someone responded. Good luck!
Kay

Dennis, Last year we stayed @ Casa Capellini for 2 nights. Our room had a kitchen so in the morning we made breakfast and enjoyed same while sitting on our private rooftop patio overlooking the sea. I would highly recommend this place.
Maureen

Dennis,
We also stayed at Casa Capellini and the view was fabulous but the room was not made up in the 4 nights we were there - no bed made, no fresh towels, nothing. It wasn't a big deal but I was a bit surprised as other 'rooms' we had stayed in were made up daily. Just thought you should know. The room itself was OK but nothing flash. You get what you pay for!
Kay
