I have seen various posts on here seeking information about the Christmas Markets in Europe. I was at Barnes and Noble the other day and bought a copy of BBC Homes and Antiques (December 2002). Cost was $6.95 USD. On page 114 it had an article titled &quot;The Top Five Markets&quot;. The top cities were 1) Dresden, Germany 2) Montbeliard (town in Franche-Comte (close to Basel Switzerland) 3)Copenhagen, Denmark 4)Lille, France 5) Florence, Italy<BR>The article was informative and the dates given were for 2002. Chris the dates are as follows:<BR><BR>Dresden- November 30 - December 24, 2002.<BR>Montbeliard- November 30 - December 24, 2002<BR>Copenhagen- November 22- December 23, 2002<BR>Lille- Novemeber 23 - December 29,2002<BR>Florence - November 15 - February 2003 ( I think Florence will be more of a general market after the Christmas dates)<BR>The article gives details on highlights of each market.
