Christmas in Scandinavia: Stokholm or Copenhagen?
My family and I are going to spend Christmas in Oslo and then going to Tromso to see the Nordic lights, my husband´s dream. Which city should we choose beteween Stokholm and Copenhagen to spend the rest of our vacation? I know I´m a little early, but I like to plan everything well in advance.
Will we be able to have sun light at that time?
As we live in Brazil, it is just amazing for us to have a White Christmas!
Any hints about places to visit, hotels, anything will be more than welcome.
Thanks!
Lery

In Oslo (and Stockholm and Copenhagen) there is sunlight all through the winter. In Tromsø there will not be sunlight when you visit, but I believe the days will not be completely dark.
If you want to experience snow sport activities while in Oslo, you should visit the Holmenkollen area. This is a small mountain area within the city of Oslo where there are alpine downhill slopes, tracks for Nordic skiing and a popular track for tobogganing. You can rent equipment and like skies, snowboards and sleds in Holmenkollen. There is some more information about this on this page: http://findnorway.com/winter/
