Thanks for sharing your photos, denisea. I thought my friend was crazy for taking pictures of some of our food and the wine we had. But now when I look at them they really do make me smile!

I wish we would have made it to the opera......your pictures really show the "spectaculareness" of it!

I am sure you aren't alone in wondering why someone is photographing their food....I didn't do it on my last trip and regretted it a little. It is great for reviews and well, when the food looks that good, ya gotta take a picture.

Love the food pictures! It's so nice to have them to remind you of all the great food you ate while in Paris.

Thanks, Denisea. Loved your earlier trip report. Made me feel as if I were in Paris too for Christmas. All the best for the New Year. Keep reporting...

Thanks for posting these. I loved your previous report but did miss pics of the souffles in your slideshow! They look awesome. You didn't find two souffles in one sitting too much?

I love to look back at pics of meals I've had while travelling but always worry about looking "uncool". I'm glad to see you and others on Fodors have photos from much fancier places than those I'm likely to be visiting. There'll be no stopping me now!

What a fantastic trip you've had and thanks for sharing it with us.

Thanks for the photos. The ones of Le Souffle in particular.
I have many fond memories of a meal there. It was my first trip to Paris, too long ago to remember the date, probably in the early 80's.
I made a note to revisit this year when I return this May.

Once upon a time, I was the official English teacher of the waiters at Le Soufflé. They have probably all died of old age by now.

Well, most of the waiters were younger but there was one who was very fun and playful and really encouraged me to take as much Grand Marnier out of that bottle as I wanted and he was the oldest one there..maybe he is a friend of yours, kerouac.
