That depends on what you think is cold, where in Norway you are going and what you are going to do during your vacation!
The temperatures can be everywhere between 10 degrees Celsius to -20 degrees Celsius.
Norway is the right place to be to celebrate christmas......
Kaja

Hi,
Norway is a great place.
I had been living in Bergen for 6 months.
If you are going to the Fiords, it's not very cold because there is the Warm Gulf Stream.
But there are 2 problems:
- it rains almost every day
- there are 4 to 5 hours of light per day.

Ciao

I live in Bergen. Here the temperature varies between -15 degrees and + 8 degrees. Mostly rain or snow. If you e.g. goes to Voss 100 km east of Bergen, you will find colder, but drier weather. At the same time you will enjoy Christmas in a typical Norwegian village (try Hotel Vossevangen og Hotel Fleischer; they are the best ones)

It might be interesting to spend x-mas in Norway, BUT... DARK!!!! Daylight is just a few hours, and will you do the rest of the time?
With all my love to Norway and the Norwegian people, I would have to say NO!
Postpone your Norwegian plans for the beginning of June or the end of August.
Ada
