I would think you can believe the website.

The Hypermarket at Centro Comercial Los Patios indicates that it will be open until 22h00 (10:00 pm).

Just so everyone knows...plenty is open on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day!
We were freaked out on arriving in Malaga so we went to a huge el Corte ingles in the mall. Bought a ton. Arrived in Granada and restaurants were open, the little grocery markets (Asian) were open until 2130, and the carrefour express was open until 6 pm.

Ah, so Carrefour was only open till 6 pm and not to 10 pm as advertised on their website ! On to NYE. Be sure to shop for your grapes early. The small ones go fast and can be quite expensive. Happy 2018 !

And thanks for having written.

Bedar you are so unbelieving it is not true.
Even in backwater Galicia shops were open on the 24th.... You know that is "Just the way it is".

This is a late reply but we did find a grocery store in a mall in Malaga...It was crazy packed with people! Bought all kinds of food!
Also there were plenty of small street markets/stores open to grab small items on Christmas, so I was worried for nothing.
