Childcare San Gimignano

Anyone have tips for locating a nanny service while visiting San Gimignano. We are renting a villa and attending a wedding in Sept '07. The rental company has no suggestions - strange.

Hi SFbay - If you don't get any personal recommendations here I suggest you contact the Tourist Information Office:

INFORMAZIONI ED ACCOGLIENZA TURISTICA
Piazza del Duomo, 1
53037 S. Gimignano (SI)

E-MAIL: [email protected]
FAX: 94.09.03
Tel: 039 (0) 577 94.00.08

Hope this helps ...

Steve

I too am trying to find out about a nanny/babysitting service in San Gimignano. We are visiting in June 2007 and would love some time off from the kids! I've emailed the Tourist Office and also the woman at our accommodation. Fingers crossed!

Try posting on Slowtalk.com on the Italy board. There are many regular posters there that live in Tuscany that may have ideas. Because it is a website devoted to slow travel, many posters rent villas for a week or more and may have contacts with babysitters/nannies.
