Cheap airfare to Prague
Im coming from Barcelona, and looking for cheap flights to Prague, but havent been able to find any. Anyone know of some discount airlines that fly from Barcelona to Prague? Or options other than Iberia?
Thanks!

You can fly www.skyeurope.com for 25 euro Barcelona-"Vienna" (actually Bratislava - - a 10 euro shuttle and 45 minutes from Vienna).
From there, the train is reasonably affordable - - check out the Prague excursion pass or something like that on raileurope.com if you live in North america).
Or if you feel like being a little adventurous, you can actually fly all the way, by going Bratislava-Kosice, then Kosice-Prague. Adds cost - - but how else are you ever going to see Kosice? I wouldn't be surprised if your cost of lodging/food are low there, so that one less night in Prague, and you would actually "average down" enough to pay for this ping pong of flights.
Alternatively, there might be some low cost connection through London (Stansted) - - didn't really look up Easyjet.com or ryanair.com for you.
Best wishes,
Rex

Did you try Czech airlines? As a "regular" airline (as oppossed to one of the intra-European discounters) I though it would be more expensive but my flights from Venice and Milan to/from Prague were very reasonable. Don't know if they fly to Barcelona.

Well, this original question is now over 3 months old, so it seems a little bit pointless to add more info to it - - but "<i>the</i> answer" as changed since February by the inauguration of www.smartwings.net - - the new low-cost Prague-based airline.

You're welcome. My comment, I suppose was simply to acknowledge that - - to the <i>original</i> poster (who has not come looking for any more info on <i>this</i> subject, though she is still visiting here at times recently), this might not be "on the radar screen". I am never quite sure what prompts someone to bring up a three-months old post and add some tidbit of info to it.
I see that you have been asing a good variety of Czech Republic related questions lately, "amp" - - so this is a good illustration of the value of "marking the <i>country</i> box" on new postings like this one.
