Chartres train station - does it have luggage lockers?

We will be travelling by train from Paris to Nantes, and as the train goes through Chartres I would like to visit Chartres Cathedral en route. However I don't want to have to take our luggage with us to the Cathedral.
Does anyone know if there is anywhere to store luggage at Chartres station?
Thanks.

I don't think any French stations have luggage lockers - they were closed for "security" reasons, but some stations have manual left luggage offices.

Most train station lockers and manual left-luggages were closed several years ago in accordance with operation "Vigipirate", an anti-terrorims measure that also saw the removal of trash cans from public places, being replaced by plastic trash bags that lay on the ground. So don't expect to store luggage in Chartres. Large stations do have luggage lockers open - in Paris at most main stations as these have airport-like security with metal detectors. But these may be subject to closure at any time though they have been open several years. there are no manual left luggages open in any French train station to my knowledge.

You may want to double check on the SNCF.com website...may have some up-to-date info.
