Chartres in lights

We're hoping to see Chartres en lumieres this September.

We're interested in all of it, but I wonder how long it takes and how much walking is involved. If you've seen this, how long did you spend?

From the website I see there are 23 sites and I know that the loop at the royal portal at the cathedral will take 30 minutes. Can you give me even a vague idea of how long a loop might last at other sites? Or even one loop, so we can estimate how long it would take to see the whole thing.

I'd just like a ballpark figure to see if my stamina is up to it.

We'd prefer not to spend the night in Chartres but may do that rather than drive over an hour back to where we're staying for the week. If we can do a complete circuit in 2-3 hours we'd just go back "home" after we've seen it all.

Fingers crossed for this. Actually, fingers crossed that the whole trip will happen.

Thanks for reminding me, we must go this September and will time a trip to make it.

We love a Chartres.
