What's a mimosa?

Audere - who clearly hasn't had one.

Orange juice (freshly squeezed) and champagne. Standard brunch drink in California.

In my opinion, it is better to make such novelty drinks with a cheaper bubbly.

Ah a good Irish - more bang for the buck (or euro) - a little whisky? (or is it whiskey?)

Rolf a Chav - no way, he's a Living Legend. BTW Audere you must listen to Rolf's definitive version of A Stairway to Heaven before going to see Led Zeppelin. www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cy5KjaAS7nY

Now if that's not an amazing segue, I don't know what is.

Crystal is only drunk by rappers and footballers. It's as common as lower back tattoos.

Custard Monster - My point was it's Cristal, not Crystal (which in the US is a cheap, non-alcohol, kool-aid type drink).

It doesn't matter how you spell it - it's still bloody pikey.

Cristal has been a prestige Champagne long before there were rap stars swigging from the bottle. It was originally created for Czar Alexander II of Russia in the 19th Century. . There is an interesting story regarding the actual bottle. Unlike the bottles of other fine Champagnes, the bottom is not deeply punted. The relatively flat bottom was crafted for Roederer, the maker, who was supplying it to the Czar. A deeply punted bottle whould have allowed an assasin to secrete a weapon.. Unlike other Champagne bottles, the bottle is clear so that the Czar could see inside and check the contents...so the story goes..

bilboburgler - To understand Audere, you need a translator. Look under "P" for pikey.
