Looks good to me! And I agree that adding Munich would take up too much of your time for this trip.

Your plan to visit Bratislava on a Sunday is good; stores will be open. With the €15 roundtrip train ticket you can also use Bratislava's public transportation system.

If you are considering tickets for the Philharmonic New Year's Day concert, you must register and submit your application by 28 February. The tickets are sold via a lottery, as the event is rather popular. Otherwise, just gather in front of Rathaus with everyone else to watch the performance on the big screen. http://www.wienerphilharmoniker.at/n...et-information

You may not require (or desire) a full day at Schönbrunn; in winter the gardens, maze and labyrinth, the Gloriette viewing terrace and the fountains are closed. Touring the palace and the carriage museum will only take half the day.

Thanks!
Yes we registered for the Phil tickets. The plan is that if we don't get it, than we will do the outdoor gathering instead.

Thanks!

Nice plan. And yes, you should spend more days in Poland next time, and think not only about Krakow. I especially love Zakopane - in the Tatra Mountains. One of my most favourite places in the world. But Krakow is great too, but not in the same way.

I would say Krakow. This is my favourite Polish city. And I've been to more than dozen cities in Poland.
