Hello Everyone, My daughter is moving to Edinburgh for a year. She is bringing her cell phone which is unlocked and is looking for a good cell phone service provider. I think her plan is to buy a SIM card and of course she needs unlimited texting and long distance (hopefully to call home every now and then) we are online looking at all the cell phone stores on Princes Street. Go to Carphone Warehouse. They're not tied to any one provider and can talk her through the different options that would suit her usage pattern.

Patrick is quite right. Most of the stores are provider owned and you maybe won't get the best deal in a store. The Carphone Warehouse is a "broker". They'll point her in the direction of a good SIM only deal, but I've found that the offerings are usually online.
