CDG to Paris hotel transportation
We need to arrange transportation from airport to hotel and need information. We usually hire a service, not taxi, so would appreciate information on reputable company. Don’t need limo just reliable transportation. Thanks for current information!!

CDG is one of the airports with easiest taxi service - just walk up to the taxi rank and in a few minutes you are on your way. Fares are regulated as noted above and taxis are plentiful. Do NOT fall prey to a gypsy driver, use only licensed taxis in the official taxi rank.
The biggest issue with car service hire is you may have to contend with delays in arrival, getting luggage, clearing customs, etc. and sometimes the driver will either not wait beyond a certain time or you will run up significant extra charges. I am not anti-car service but have had a couple negative experiences on arrival. On the return trip to the airport this would not apply, of course.

CDG is not the place you want to use a car service. There is no easy location for pickup, taxis are fixed fee and always available, and only taxis have access to special HOV/bus lanes making your traveler into the city much faster.

Even though it is not difficult to get a taxi, something we like to do on arrival is try to make getting from the airport to the apartment as easy and stress free as possible to get a good start to the vacation. We have used Victor’s Cabs 4 times and have been happy with them every time. On our last trip in 2019 it was (and still is according to the web site) 75 Euros to the apartment in the 5th. It was nice to have the driver meet us outside baggage claim and take our luggage to the car for a quick uneventful ride into Paris. As usual we had way more luggage than we should have had and we are getting spoiled and lazy in our old age. None of which really justifies the 20 Euro difference from a taxi that we paid. Ha.
Below is Victor’s Cabs info. We did all communication by email.

Victor's cells:

Before leaving for the airport the driver will check the actual landing time of your plane. He will then wait after the luggage retrieval area holding a card with your name.

Many thanks for answer! I am glad to hear that we can walkout the airport duty and hail a taxi! Often times(like last week in San Antonio a taxi was twice the price of Uber!!) taxis are not the best mode of transportation. Thanks to each person!
