Another tip in getting through customs quickly is to try to look as boringly "normal" as possible...not too wealthy/not too scruffy. I pity the folks who are "profiled." One time my DH decided not to shave because it was "vacation" - with his 3 or 4 day beard stubble, he was asked quite a few more questions than I was.

I have arrived at CDG many, many times and I doubt that it has ever taken more than 1/2 hour. Of course, you could have lost luggage or some other unusual happening.

CDG last November 30 minutes and FCO in January 45 minutes..I guess we were lucky!
