CDG airport/luggage stow

Hi, My friend and I are staying in Paris for 2 nights. I have read much of this forum and it seem the hotel rooms are quite small.
Also traveling with alot of luggage (which we are) will be a transportation nightmare.
Can anyone tell me if there is a place at CDG airport in which we can pay and stow most of our luggage safely and bring only the bag for our 2 night stay with us to the hotel?????
please reply to this forum if you can help.
Thank you !!

CDG has no facility for left luggage due to terrorism concerns.

I know it depends on costs
but perhaps look into shipping a good part of your luggage either home or to your next destination. If you are continuing to travel, your next hotel may be happy to accept it in advance of your arrival.
And, I don't know what all your circumstances are, but try hard to reduce the amount of stuff you are taking; before the trip is over you will start cursing it, I'm afraid. I did.
good luck

Hi,

technically, with two of you - you COULD use public transport even with that much luggage, but WOW what a pain. I would really start seeing how you can reduce your load, before you go. like Rick Steves said - "you cannot travel heavy, happy, and cheap. Pick two." you really don't need four pairs of shoes each! you will be AMAZED at how little you can get away with - laundry soap and a little clothesline is so much smaller and cheaper too.

one other thought - instead of two suitcases, if you are SET on taking that much - why not each of you use a large backpack, and a trundle suitcase? You maximize how much you can schlep around. but I still think you should start unloading now. I spend a month in Europe (6 countries) with one backpack. I managed to fit in all I needed and still had room to buy stuff to bring home. summer travel is at least easier cuz you aren't carrying big bulky sweaters...

at least there are two of you - you'll be splitting the cab fare.

also, dumb question - why two cab rides to the airport? for two days... I take it you must be flying to the various destinations, versus landing in CDG and then taking a train elsewhere?

if you are taking a train after you leave Paris, why not go to the train station you are leaving from, & leave the stuff there? that might even be a cheaper cab ride, depending on where it is... then you only have one cab ride, as your stuff will already be at your train station..

thoughts?
