Caumont Center sold!

I just read that the Caumont Center in Aix has been sold by Culturespaces to an investment group, which is pledging to keep it open and continue its program of fine art exhibits.

This is one of my favorite places. The 18th-century hotel particulier is magnificently restored, and the two exhibits I've seen there were both wonderfully presented. After this restoration, which cost tens of millions of euros, I can't imagine the place, which has attracted some 300,000 visitors a year, closing.

Does anyone have any information on what's likely to happen? I've been checking the website in advance of our June visit to Aix and noticed that no new exhibition was listed after the current Botero one closes, so I wondered what was going on. I was so looking forward to going back, seeing an exhibit, and having lunch in the beautiful cafe. Quelle perte!

Nothing is supposed to change, just the owner of the building.

Thank goodness! When I saw that the buyer was a real estate investment company, I was afraid it would turn into another chic b&b!

Thanks for the reply.
