Castles

Are there any "castle routes" that anybody is aware of? What I mean is like from Manchester to London to somewhere else, is there like a chain of castles or a road you can take to see the most castles in one trip or better yet, one day?

Well, from Manchester you could do Warick and Windsor on the way to London and then do Leeds on the way east towards the coast.

In Northuberland you could hit Alnwick, Bamburgh, Lindisfarne and Chillingham all in a day.

Bill

Oh please.... are you actually planning a trip or just seeing how much trouble you can get people to go for you? Yes, you do have to look at a map.
