Casteles des Alpilles or Villa Glanum?

We will be basing out of St. Remy for 3 days in September. I could really use some advice on choosing between these 2 hotels. Thanks!!

Villa Glanum is a farther walk into town - about two kilometres. Castelas is a two minute walk into town.

We will have a car, if that makes a difference. Is Villa Glanum nicer? Such that it would be worth being further out?

We spent two nights at the Villa Glanum in June 2006. Our room was clean and comfortable. No A/C, but there were big windows which we kept open. We really enjoyed the swimming pool. It's right across the road from the St. Paul Sanitarium, where Van Gogh stayed (you can visit his room), and from Glanum, the very interesting Greco-Roman archeological site. It's just about a mile from central St. Remy, which has lots of shops and restaurants.
