Cindy, my husband and I spent a couple of enjoyable hours at the car museum in Mulhouse, France in the Alsace region. There were Ferraris, Maseratis, Bugattis and so many other car types, one of my Alsace travel books says 400 of their 600 cars are on display anytime. I can't remember if there were any Lamborginis, however. That same guidebook calls it the Mulhouse National Automobile Museum. It was the collection, I think, of two brothers named Schlumpf. I put it on our tour schedule as a must see for my husband and I was surprised how much I also enjoyed it

If you can time your trip in October the Paris Motor show will be running 2nd - 17th.
Or Try the Le Mans Museums: Musée Automobile de la Sarthe.
Has your son ever seen the TV programme Top Gear? It is not run in America (assuming that is where you are from.) He will love it. They do daft things like race a Bugatti Veyron against a Euro fighter jet plane. They took a bunch of supercars including Lambos and Ferraris through Paris and caused chaos. Worth trying to get DVDs if this has not come your way.
