We will be dropping our car off at EuropCar in Siena and then getting a bus connection to Rome. Does anyone know the proximity of the car rental to the bus station? And do you know where we can locate a bus schedule for Siena-Rome transportation on line? Remember it being fairly easy to obtain a ticket when we were there in 1998 and that it was easier to take the bus than the train.

The bus station in Siena is located in Piazza Gramsci, near the stadium. There is a pedestrian underpass below for tickets and bus schedules. It is easy to get a ticket on the same day for travel to Rome. The people working there were very helpful. I am not sure about EuropCar, but most of the car rental companies are near the station. Hope this helps.

Have no idea where the EuropCar drop off is. Anyway, the Sena bus to Rome departs from the train station and makes a few stops in Siena before hitting the road. Thank you both for the responses. EuropCar drop off is in Piazza Maestri Del Lavoro. Now that I know where the bus station is, we can better plan our timing. Gratzie!
