Capri or Lake Cuomo
Have been to both and vote for Lake Como. Capri is pretty, but limited, and was so crowded - we were there for a day trip last month when we were on the Amalfi coast. Lake Como and the surrounding area is so serene and scenic and much more to see and do. We were there two years ago, and would love to go back.

Have not been to Lake Cuomo, but my husband and I loved Capri. Spent 4 nights there for our 5 year anniversary. The town of Capri Town is darling. But you must like shopping (expensive), dressing nicely for dinner and lots of walking. The meals were the best we had in Europe. Our hotel was so beautiful (Punta Tragara). We can hardly wait to go back.

Any other input? I'm trying to decide between Tuscany-Capri-home or Tuscany-Lakes-home. Choices would look something like:

Tuscany - 1 week (villa rental)
Florence - 3 nights
Then, either
Capri - 4 nights
or
Lake(s) - 4 nights

I don't like to squeeze too much (i.e., adding Rome in) into an itinerary and prefer coastal areas and small towns, anyway.

Would love to hear others' feedback (have been to Lake Como, but not to Amalfi Coast/Bay of Naples area).
