Ca'Pisani in Venice

Has anyone stayed at the Ca'Pisani in Venice? Heard from my brother-in-law (who is not always reliable) that it is the "coolest" hotel in town. I would like to hear the opinion of anyone who has stayed there. Thanks.

18 months ago we were scheduled to stay at this hotel. The owners also own the Saturnia in San Marco.
Unfortunately, the hotel was not yet ready (under construction) when we arrived so we were given luxurious accomodations at the Saturnia. The owners are very interesting, friendly people and they take great pride in their hotels. Ca'Pisani is in a terrific location (much prefer it to San Marco). It has and 'art deco' flavor so if you want venetian decor and 'charm', you won't get it here. Instead it is more like a boutique style hotel you'd find in San Francisco.
Don't hesitate to stay there.

Some friends of mine just stayed there during Carnevale. I've looked at it myself. My friends have been to Venice many times and have always stayed at the Europa-Regina, but that one was fully booked when they made their Carnevale arrangements.
Decor is modernist as mentioned, not traditional Venetian, although very beautiful in its own way. My friends had a large room that they were very pleased with and they felt the service was outstanding.
Hotel made all kinds of arrangements and suggestions for them. THere's also a restaurant on the premises I believe.
Hi
It's a 15-20 minute walk from the Piazza which means it has a very good location in my opinion, near the Dorsoduro side of the Accademia Bridge.
