Can't Wait!!

My husband and I are going to Rome in a few weeks (hopefully, we're flying stanby, so there's a chance we won't go). I am really looking forward to it. I've never been to Europe, so I'm hoping this will be a great experience! We're staying at Hotel Virginia near the Spanish Steps. I've been reading the posts and I have gotten a lot of good tips! Thanks!

We're planning on doing the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Vatican City, Coliseum, and I'm still looking at guide books for anything else. We'll only be there for 3 days. Any other suggestions?

Highly recommend the Galleria Borghese (reservations needed.) It's a small museum, so it's not overwhelming, and there's some beautiful works of art on display (the Bernini sculptures alone make it worth the trip.)

jv8276, When booking the Borghese did you have your hotel reserve for you when you got there? Or would you reccommend reserving before we leave for Italy?
