Can you recommend a pub close to the London Eye?
We arrive in London on the way to Croatia. Tired yes but will go into London for dinner and to ride the London Eye. After dinner, train back to Gatwick.
Would love to have your recommendations for a "pub dinner". Would like to be able to walk to the pub from the Big Ben area. Lastly, love for the pub to have great pub grub and traditional character.
Any suggestions?

There is a very nice pub along the river I can't remember the name right off hand but they have a big riverside terrace and it is near, right beside actually ,the Golden Hind ship of Sr Frances Drake. They have very good food and an upsairs dining area.
