Camper Shoes in Rome/Paris

Anyone have any idea where I can buy Camper Shoes in Paris or Rome?

They are so comfortable but I am having a hard time finding them locally and figured maybe I'll have a better chance when we are in Europe.

I'm sure hubby will love going shoe shopping abroad LOL.

Thanks.

Donna

Hi:

I was just in Rome, and I'm pretty sure there was a Camper store right at the Spanish Steps. Happy shopping.

You can also purchase them on the web at www.shoes2die4.com
I've read that they're now sold on the West Coast (maybe only CA?- at Macy's and Nordstrom's)

hi there!
i love my campers, we bought ours in florence - there must have been 4 stores in walking distance of each other so i'm sure rome is the same.

their website is www.camper.es and they list stores.

the rome store is in piazza da spagna and there are 4 paris locations.
here's the link - hope it works
http://www.camper.es/camperingles/ca...uiero/open.asp

hth

another great "bowling shoe" designer - Hyde

http://www.hydeshoes.com/htm/welcome2.html

And their shoes don't have a huge C on the heel like Campers do. Also, having just gotten back from Rome - the stores there are filled with the bowling shoe, in every imaginable color combo, texture, etc., etc.

I tried on a couple of pairs in Paris at a Camper store in the 6th across the park in front of the department store Le Bon Marche. The prices were very comparable to the prices in the states.

OK- I know this is not the answer you're looking for bt it is certainly applicable. I love Camper shoes and after only finding the highest prices in the Los Angeles area, I figured I'd look in London while I was there to see if I could find a bargain. No luck. Found a great shop in Soho, but the prices were even higher, so I was again hesitant to buy them.

I was in Las Vegas a few weeks ago and happened upon a boutique show store (Footworks?) in the mall at Caesars Palace, where I found a shoe store that was getting rid of a few pairs for 39 US dollars! Of course I bought them on the spot.

The advice here is to look in specialty shoe stores in the US as opposed to the Bloomingdales, Macys etc, and especially if you're shopping outside of LA-NY, you might be able to find a bargain like I did.

And maybe Footworks has a website?

Good luck!
