Calling all Barcelona experts
O.K. SO I have been to BCN a bunch of times but not since 2001, and from what I've read the city has changed in growth and revitalization of certain areas.
My upcoming trip end of January is not merely a pleasure trip, actually more of a scouting trip for a planned move the start of May to open a gallery.
So what areas would be best for commercial space, renting an apartment, what's up and coming, what's arrived and what has already gone.
Thanks for any input.

I do not know rents nor the price you are selling the art. But I assume near the Tapies Foundation would be very expensive but an exc ellent spot. And call me old fashioned but I would consider a gallery in the Barri Gotic. That has been in style for nearly 1,000 years.

Thanks you guys.
Maribel, knowing that you are the resident expert on all things Spain, do you think Raval is still too cutting edge to put a craft gallery in there and have it be successful, I mean do tourists and locals go there on a regular basis. Sorry if that sounds dumb. I suppose it's like Dumbo or Williamsberg in NYC about 8 years ago where the artists flocked to for the cheap rents and now are very trendy.
As far as apartments I'll be looking at those 2 areas as well as barceloneta. Any thoughts on that.
