The linens I have bought in France are not special occasion, fancy things but are rather tablecloths for everyday use. I have tables that would scratch if I left them uncovered.
There are many options if you don't like Provencal prints. I am partial to the colorful striped Basque designs.
Whatever you get, have fun looking and maybe you'll find something for yourself too.

I like the Basque linens, too, but can you get a good-sized tablecloth for that budget? (look at the prices on the link, below) I remember looking in Bayonne a few years ago and they were NOT inexpensive.
And don't those have to be ironed?
